Hello, I’m Becca Brown!
I am an acrylic painter that has been developing my skills and soon to be Graphic Designer. I currently am Working full time in the retail space as a shoe Merchandiser.
I have always had a love for painting. During my time growing up, I attended CCAD classes on the weekends. then during my time at Kent State University, I was focused on my studies in Fashion and after sometime I picked up the brush as a form of therapy.
My paintings are based on black femininity. I want to leave the world with images of black women shown in a way that they are complex and not one dimensional or trauma-based.
